You are invited to play in the Winter / Spring Soccer League!

Central Torrance Region 15 announces our Winter / Spring Recreational Soccer League. All individual players, Regional Teams, Coaches and interested parents are encouraged to take part in this event. We need volunteers (Referees, Set-up/Take-down, Field Monitors, etc.) to help give our kids a season of friendly games.  Parents and volunteers who are interested in gaining Referee or Linesman training and/or experience will have an opportunity during this 7-week program.
 
The Rules are Simple:
 
The object of this season is for our kids to continue to develop their soccer skills and enjoyment of the game. THERE ARE NO STANDINGS. 6U/8U games are 20 minute halves and 10U/12U games are 25 minute halves. There will be quarterly substitutions on a running clock and a 5 minute break at halftime. Sideline water breaks are allowed at each quarter, but no player(s) is to leave the field of play unless they are being substituted. 
Parent Participation is required for goal set-up/take-down and cheering.
Games run in one hour time slots.  Arrive 30 minutes before your game.
 
HONOR THE GAME!  There is NO YELLING in anger. Parents, Coaches and Players are on notice upon acceptance into the league you can be sent off or asked not to attend any further games if you abuse any spectator, player, coach, referee, administrator or board member.  There will be no refund for the player if the player is suspended or if the parent chooses to not have their child continue after they have been asked not to attend any further games. Violence, dissent or verbal abuse of any kind toward referees, coaches, player(s), teams, administrators, or board members will not be tolerated. This is a Kid’s Zone^© event – Kids Rule!!! If you cannot control yourself, we suggest lollipops, gum, duct tape, leaving the play area when upset or not attending the friendship games.
 
All players will receive participation gift (Ball/T-Shirt). All proceeds benefit our Scholarship program during the regular season.  This league is open to all new and returning players. Teams may be co-ed.

Dates:
7-week season from February through mid-March. No Rain Day make-up.  The last Saturday will be a double header with food and the first day of Fall Registration.
Fees:
$50 for players that played in the fall season and $70+$17.50 (AYSO membership fee) for those that this is your first time to AYSO or did not register during the 2018 fall season.

Divisions:
6U Boys and Girls or Co-Ed
5 v 5 – ¾ rule with a maximum roster of 7 and no goal keeper
8U Boys and Girls or Co-Ed
6 v 6 – ¾ rule with a maximum roster of 8 and no goal keeper
10U Boys and Girls or Co-Ed
7 v 7 – ¾ rule with a maximum roster of 10
12U Boys and Girls or Co-Ed
9 v 9 - ¾ rule with a maximum roster of 11
